We are delighted to announce that Professor Anna Korhonen, Professor of Natural Language Processing in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics, has been elected a Fellow of the British Academy, one of the highest honours in the humanities and social sciences.
Professor Korhonen is among the distinguished scholars elected to the British Academy’s Fellowship in 2026, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to research. The Fellowship celebrates individuals who have achieved distinction in the humanities and social sciences through their scholarship.
Professor Korhonen’s election is a thoroughly deserved recognition of her exceptional contributions to the field of natural language processing and artificial intelligence.
