Rifiabare: A Literary Geography Workshop

Join us for an inspiring in-person workshop on Sardinian fairy tales on 15 November 2025.

Venue: Murray Edwards College, Long Room, Huntingdon Road, Cambridge CB3 0DF

Workshop leaders: Maria Luisa Mura and Francesca Nardi (Ischìre – Collettivo mobile di geografia letteraria)

Organiser: Elena Sottilotta (Murray Edwards College)

Starting from a playful reading of Fiabe Sarde [Sardinian Fairy Tales] by Sergio Atzeni and Rossana Copez, and drawing on the narrative worlds of Grazia Deledda, this multisensory workshop invites participants to build a collective space for reflection on the relationship between storytelling and the processes of territorial construction. The workshop aims to overturn some of the narrative clichés that shape the history of Sardinia and, more broadly, our way of inhabiting space and relating to the natural world.

Participation is free, but spaces are limited. Please register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/rifiabare-a-literary-geography-workshop-tickets-1956001947479
