Italian Literature and Culture Through a Comparative Lens: Transnational and Transhistorical Networks

This one-day colloquium brings together emerging scholars from across the UK, Ireland, and Europe to explore Italian literature and culture through transnational, comparative, and transhistorical perspectives. The programme includes a keynote lecture by Professor Emma Bond (University of Oxford), three thematic panels, and a workshop on transnationality in Italian language teaching.
Organised by Aurora Sturli (University of Cambridge) and Camille Iuliano (King’s College London), the event is generously supported by the Society for Italian Studies and the Cambridge–Intesa Sanpaolo Fund.
