SP Iberian: Iberian Voices: approaches to the cultures of the Iberian Peninsula
Course convenor: Prof Maria Manuel Lisboa (mmgl100@cam.ac.uk), Section of Spanish & Portuguese
Iberian Voices is a module that allows you to study a range of key issues across and with regard to the Iberian peninsula, at key moments during the last millennium, notable for their diversity but also for their commonality. The first five seminars will approach the idea of ‘voices’ through specific cases of cultural experience and activity. The sixth seminar will try to bring together key ideas regarding both diversity and commonality in an Iberian framework. The module is designed to be flexible and can cater to students’ interests.
