Erasmus is the European Union's flagship educational exchange programme for Higher Education students, teachers and institutions. It was introduced with the aim of increasing student mobility within Europe.

The UK's future access to the Erasmus programme will be determined as part of wider Brexit discussions with the EU. The Faculty will keep the situation under review and this web page will be updated as and when new information is released.

More information on Brexit can be found here:

The Erasmus grant for Cambridge students is administered by the International Student Team. Further information about Erasmus+ and how it relates to MML and HML students can be found on their webpages. You can also contact them via email:

(At the time of writing, the UK’s continued participation in the Erasmus programme in 2021-22 is unlikely, with repercussions for Cambridge students’ continuing access to the Erasmus mobility grant. Please check back here for further updates, as well the website of the University’s International Student Office.)
