FIXING FRANCE: where is France heading and is the 6th Republic inevitable?

Description:

Content notice: this item discusses themes of terrorism, misogyny, racist and religious persecution

All are welcome to this unmissable free event with French-Algerian writer, journalist and broadcaster Nabila Ramdani, author of Fixing France: How to Repair a Broken Republic. The talk will highlight the problems caused by a shambolic parliament that is constantly on the verge of collapse, as a monarchical president forces his will on a traditionally revolutionary population. Segregation, institutionalised rioting, economic injustice, the debasement of women, a monolithic education system, deep-seated racial and religious discrimination, paramilitary policing, terrorism, and a duplicitous foreign policy all fuel the growing crisis.
