RFB book swap and donations shelf!

We have set up a bookcase on the first floor outside the Lecturers’ Common Room. This is a place where you can donate any books which you no longer need, and take anything from the shelves which you would like to have. They can be any sort of books you like, it’s not just about academic works.

From time to time, if books are sitting there for ages or if the shelves get overcrowded we will take a load to a charity shop. To make your book donating more interesting you will also find information on the bookcase about how you can track where your book travels to around the world. There is an organisation called BookCrossing whereby you can label your book, log it on the BookCrossing site, and then see where it ends up. It’s just a bit of fun if you feel like participating - you’ll find  some instructions and a stack of BookCrossing labels on the bookcase.
