This talk by Professor Silvana Patriarca of Fordham University will address questions of anticolonialism and antiracism in Italy at the turn of the 20th century by examining the writings and cultural productions of radical thinkers and activists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and especially the intersections between arguments against colonial aggressions and arguments against the idea of “superior” and “inferior” races.
