A new case study highlighting the success of Cambridge spinout Trismik has been published as part of the Cambridge Enterprise Annual Review 2025 campaign.
Trismik originated in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics and reflects the strength of innovation emerging from Cambridge’s languages and linguistics community. The company’s foundations can be traced back to research conducted in the lab of Professor Nigel Collier, demonstrating how academic work within the Faculty can lead to impactful real-world applications.
The newly published case study explores the development of Trismik from its early research stages through to its growth as a Cambridge Enterprise portfolio company. It highlights how ideas developed within the University can evolve into ventures with broader technological and societal impact, particularly in areas at the intersection of language and artificial intelligence.
