Every year we invite potential students of all ages and backgrounds to join us at MMLL on our Undergraduate Open Days. They’re the perfect opportunities to learn more about what it's like to study languages, to get a taste of Cambridge life and to ask questions.
We will hold our next open day on:
Thursday 9 July 2026: Undergraduate Open Day (MMLL, Colleges and support services will be open)
Friday 10 July 2026: Undergraduate Open Day (MMLL, Colleges and support services will be open)
These events are designed for prospective applicants from Year 12, Year 13 (or equivalent) and mature applicants (aged 21 or over), to learn more about the University and Cambridge Colleges.
Booking is essential via the Cambridge Open Days website to ensure you receive an Open Day ticket and all the information you need to plan for your visit. Each prospective applicant can book a ticket for up to one guest. Once a booking has been made, separate reservations to visit Colleges are not normally required. You do not need to sign up again to visit MMLL.
The Student Admissions and Access Team are able to advise on coach and minibus parking as well as support with other Open Day related enquiries. You can get in touch with them on caoevents@admin.cam.ac.uk.

Can I bring a school group?
Teachers can bring school groups of up to 20 students. If you'd like to do this, please email outreach@mmll.cam.ac.uk rather than filling in the form.
Can I be served a college lunch as a parent, carer or teacher?
No. Only students can attend lunches in college.
Do I have to attend the whole day?
No. You can attend as much or as little of the day as you want to.
When will there be another Open Day?
The Faculty of MMLL will participate in the University Open Days in July.
When does the day finish?
The last session will be a Q&A at 4:30pm and will last roughly an hour.
