We were delighted to celebrate this at the Pilkington Prize ceremony at St Catharine’s College, where twelve members of staff from across Cambridge were recognised for their outstanding contributions to education.
Awarded annually since 1994, the Pilkington Prize recognises individuals who make a significant impact on teaching and student experience across the University.
Professor María Noriega-Sánchez (Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics / Sidney Sussex College) was honoured for her exceptional contribution to education and inspiring approach to teaching.
Presenting the awards, Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Prentice praised this year’s winners for their transformative and visionary teaching, noting: “You all share a gift for explaining complex subjects lucidly.”
Congratulations again to María and all of this year’s recipients!
