The Faculty is delighted to announce that Dr. Doyle Calhoun, University Assistant Professor of Francophone Postcolonial Studies and Fellow of Peterhouse, has been awarded a prestigious fellowship at the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Dr. Calhoun is one of only 15 fellows selected from an international pool of over 500 applicants, including academics, independent scholars, and creative artists. The fellowship provides a nine-month residency at the NYPL’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, offering unfettered access to the Library’s world-renowned research collections and a dedicated space for intensive writing and collaboration.
