Q is for Garden, published by Manchester University Press, explores queer life, gardens, creativity, care, grief and our relationships with the more-than-human world. Blending memoir with cultural history, the book reflects on how nature can inspire us to rethink boundaries, belonging and identity.
To mark the publication, Dr Chamarette will launch the book at the Q is for Garden Queer Nature Extravaganza on Saturday 11 July at Grow Mayow Community Garden in South East London. The event will feature readings from guest writers, creative workshops, live music and discussions celebrating queer ecology, creativity and community.
Following the launch, Dr Chamarette will appear at a series of events across the UK, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Brighton, Leeds and the Coast is Queer Festival.
We warmly congratulate Jenny on this exciting publication and wish them every success with the book launch and upcoming events.
