Part I Oral Examination A and B

At Part IA all students take an oral exam for each of their languages. The ab initio language (option A) is examined through Oral A exam, which takes place in May. The post-A2 level language(s) (option B) is examined through the Oral B exam, which takes place in April.

At Part IB all students who took a language ab initio (option A) during Part IA will be examined in that language through the Oral B exam, which takes place in April.
