Dr Itamar Shatz

Itamar’s research deals with the social sciences, digital humanities, data science, and their intersections, exploring questions like how we can generate novel insights from large-scale language data and address cognitive biases that interfere with scientific analyses.

Itamar also teaches quantitative and computational research methods, advocates for open research, and engages in science communication. His goal is to unlock new directions of research, and facilitate research that is more robust, generalisable, and impactful.
