You are invited to the Cambridge Postgraduate Virtual Open Days 2023! MMLL will be holding Faculty/Section -specific events on Monday 23 October 2023. There will be a separate session for each of the postgraduate courses we offer. Sessions will be held online and will each consist of a short presentation followed by an opportunity for Questions & Answers.

We are delighted to share that the Centre for Human Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA), directed by MMLL's Professor Anna Korhonen, has just announced a funding partnership with Google to facilitate AI research.

We are pleased to share that Dr Claire White is a contributor to the newly-published volume accompanying the current exhibition on Edgar Degas at The Cleveland Museum of Art (8 October 2023-January 14 2024).

Professor Rory Finnin’s new book, Blood of Others: Stalin’s Crimean Atrocity and the Poetics of Solidarity (2022), has been shortlisted for the Laura Shannon Prize, which is recognized internationally as one of the leading book prizes in the field of European studies.

We are pleased to share that a research team from the Cambridge MMLL Faculty, together with academic colleagues and NGOs from Zagreb, Nicosia, Brighton, London, Poznan and Berlin, has begun work on the Horizon Europe/UKRI Innovate Horizon Europe Guarantee – funded project Cartography of the Political Novel in Europe (CAPONEU).
