UNIAN, Ukraine's leading media outlet, reported on a joint presentation in London by Fr Borys Gudziak, Rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University, and Dr Rory Finnin, University Lecturer in Ukrainian Studies, in May 2011.

Both Gudziak and Finnin emphasised the critically interconnected future of higher education in Ukraine and the field of Ukrainian Studies in Europe.
