About:

Sarah’s principal responsibility is the Library finances, making sure our suppliers and library helpers get paid on time. She is also responsible for the Italian section of the Library and the Modern Greek collection. If you need any help with ebooks, she is the person to ask as she has extensive experience with them and her library degree was on the ebook industry. Her professional interests include wellbeing, which she takes very seriously, and social media: she helps maintain the Library’s online presence on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Sarah has been working in University of Cambridge Libraries for more than 10 years, primarily at Cambridge Judge Business School, with stints at the Engineering Library and Homerton College Library. Outside work, Sarah is an avid film, TV and book fan, as well as a keen quizzer. During and after university, she was a film reviewer, including for the Cambridge Film Festival where she interviewed the most important film director in Albania!

While encouraging the wellbeing of others, Sarah maintains her own wellbeing through nature – including gardening, long walks through woodland, and birdwatching. During the holidays, she enjoys travelling, and in recent years has spent time in Costa Rica, Bali and the Philippines. Other than that, she is trying to write a book as she is a creative writer at heart.
