We celebrated LGBTQ+ History Month 2023 with a display of books and films entitled ‘Behind the Lens’. Recognising the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ people working in the visual arts, it featured the films of various LGBTQ+ filmmakers from Pasolini to Praunheim. These were interspersed with histories and testimonies of queer artists working in the fields of documentary making, modelling, photography and art.
