Interview with Andrea Camilleri

Andrea Camilleri

Intervista con Andrea Camilleri

In 2016 students in their first and second year of the Tripos in Italian ‘virtually’ interviewed the author Andrea Camilleri. After having explored a portion of Camilleri’s vast production, accessing it either in Italian, in translation, or in its TV adaptation, they put together a number of questions for the author. The video interview is the result of the filmed students’ questions and Camilleri’s answers from his home in Rome. The interview was coordinated and produced by Dott. Claudia Domenici (SLTO in the Department of Italian), in collaboration with the Language Centre.

The video interview is being used to produce language teaching material soon to be available to Cambridge MML and LC students. The Interview can be viewed here.
