Postgraduate Studies at the Department of German & Dutch

Faculty Information:

Current regular seminar series:

Have you considered Cambridge as the setting for your programme of Graduate Studies in German? The Department of German and Dutch very much welcomes graduate students, either as candidates for a master's degree (MPhil) or for a doctorate (PhD). It is the only such department in the UK which has always been placed in the top grade in research assessment exercises and can fairly claim to be the best in the country. The collegiate structure of the University also makes for a supportive environment.

The Department has an officer responsible for graduate matters, currently Prof Sarah Colvin, Jesus College (network tel: 64881, e-mail:sjc269@cam.ac.uk). You may consult her for advice on any aspect of your graduate course.
