Department Launches 2015-16 Public Events Season

Slavonic Studies whats_on_2015-16

The Department of Slavonic Studies organises a vibrant and dynamic series of free, public events in Polish, Russian and Ukrainian Studies every year. The 2015-16 events season was formally launched with a sold-out public lecture by Professor Sheila Fitzpatrick at Trinity College’s Winstanley Theatre on 9 October 2015. The lecture was entitled ‘Stalin and Myself: On Writing History and Writing Memoirs’. A wine reception followed the event, which saw the release of the Department’s new ‘What’s On’ flyer highlighting central events in the academic year — from the Department’s thematic lecture series ‘Sense of Place’ to the M.B Grabowski Symposium and the Eighth Annual Cambridge Festival of Ukrainian Film.

Download the flyer here and see a list of all of our events at www.mml.cam.ac.uk/slavonic/events.
