Felipe Schuery graduated in Publishing from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and worked as an editor in the Brazilian Publishing market. He has a Master’s degree in Literature and Discourse Analysis from Université Blaise-Pascal (France), where he was the Portuguese Leitor from the Instituto Camões during 2011/12. He is interested in Children’s Literature and had his first book published in October 2013: Ralf & Demi – Uma história de duas metades (Quatro Cantos). In 2013-14, Felipe was one of our Substitute Portuguese Language Teachers and on 1 September 2014 he became the first University of Cambridge Language Teaching Officer in Portuguese. He was a Senior Language Teaching Officer from 2018 to 2022, and is now an Associate Professor in Portuguese. Since 2019, he is a TROPO-UK (Association of Teachers and Researchers of Portuguese Language in the UK) officer.
