Liu Yang is a PhD fresher in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. She received her MA with Distinction in Linguistics at the University of Newcastle (2016-2017) and BA in Translation and Interpreting at Sun Yat-sen University (2012-2016).

Research

Liu is interested in the functional categories in the nominal domain from a cross-linguistic perspective and how number is expressed in the hierarchy.
