Semantics and pragmatics of expressive language
About
Mireia completed her BA in English Studies: Language and Literature, with a minor in Spanish Studies, at the University of Valencia (2015-2019).
For her master's, she decided to specialise in the field of Linguistics, and undertook an MA in Applied Linguistics at the University of Birmingham (2019-2020).
During the completion of these studies, Mireia did internships in different areas, including teaching, media and research assistance.
Research
Her main research expertise/fields of study: Semantics and Pragmatics, Language Meaning, Language and Thought/Cognition.
She is also interested in the interfaces between these areas and the fields of Psycholinguistics and Computational Linguistics.
