About
Samantha completed her PhD in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at Cambridge in 2023. Her research aimed to bridge the fields of Language Acquisition and World Englishes by focusing on the use of Malaysian English varieties in different social contexts.
Prior to her PhD, Samantha completed her BA in English Language and Linguistics at the University of York in 2016 and MPhil in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at the University of Cambridge in 2017.
