Information about teaching delivery in Michaelmas Term 2021

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all current and prospective students to the MMLL Faculty in October. You should have received an email from the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Education, Prof Graham Virgo, on 30th July, setting out the University’s plans for teaching in 2021-22 (and specifically for the first term). The text is available here. In the MMLL Faculty we follow the University’s guidance as closely as possible, and as stated by Graham Virgo, we will provide information about any lecture courses that need to be delivered online for the reasons stated in Prof Virgo’s email (e.g., very large cohort, staff with a medical exemption) on or before 30th September. Our expectation is that the great majority of small-group teaching (e.g. supervisions and seminars) will be taking place in person. Please be assured that we are monitoring the situation carefully and will provide updates should changes in the national situation affect the University’s guidance.
