Maren de Vincent-Humphreys studied Second Language Acquisition Research and Latin American Studies at the University of Hamburg, as well as at the University of Cologne. While at the University of Hamburg, she also acted as a student research assistant at the Collaborative Research Centre for Multilingualism. She possesses many years' experience teaching German as a Foreign Language, including inter alia at the University of São Paulo and most recently at the Goethe-Institut in Hamburg.
At Cambridge she is a Senior Teaching Associate, giving supervisions and German language classes.
Her research interests are in intercultural business communication and processes of second language acquisition.
