
The Cambridge Italian Research Network’s annual interdisciplinary research symposium brings together researchers working on Italy from a wide range of disciplinary persepctives to discuss a single overarching theme or question.
Now in its fifth year, the 2017 symposium will take place in Jesus College on 19 May 2017 and will explore the theme of ‘Crime and Punishment’. The day will include papers from criminology, history, history of art and architecture, literature, and classics, covering periods from the early middle ages to the present day. Contributors are from Cambridge, Essex, Harvard, Kunsthistorisches Institut Florence, Max Planck Institut Berlin, NYU, and Oxford.
