The Slavonic Studies Section is proud to announce that Dr Rebecca Reich’s book (State of Madness: Psychiatry, Literature and Dissent after Stalin” (Northern Illinois University Press, 2018) has won the prize for the Best First Book, awarded by American Association for the Teaching of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL).
