Languages and Cultures residential summer school at Selwyn College

This summer Selwyn College will run a two-night residential course called Languages and Cultures for UK maintained (state) school students currently in Year 12, 13 (Northern Ireland) or S3 (Scotland).

The course takes place from Wednesday 2 July to Friday 4 July and explores the intersection of language, film, literature and history across a range of contexts. Students will hone their analytical and research skills through linguistic puzzles and taster sessions with academic experts, while gaining valuable insights into the value that a knowledge of cultures and languages brings to the world of work.

Applications close on Wednesday 30 April at 5pm and students do not need to be taking a language at A-level to attend. For more information and the application form - see the page on the college's website.
