Second Language Acquisition and Teaching: From Theory to Practice

You are warmly invited to this event which will bring together experts in Second Language Acquisition, Language Pedagogy and Cultural Literacy to discuss how recent research developments can inform current teaching practice. The areas explored will be:

- Connections between research findings and classroom implementations regarding the acquisition of verbal tense-aspect

- Insights from eye-tracking studies in vocabulary learning and teaching

- Song literacy in language teaching and material development

The focus will be on Romance languages, but the approach to bridge theory and practice to enhance language teaching and material development will be of benefit to practitioners in any language.

Attendance is free but please note that places are limited. This is an in-person event only.
