Student guidance for in person teaching in the Lecture Block, Lady Mitchell Hall, and any of the Mill Lane Lecture theaters
Pre-arrival
▪ Ensure that you have downloaded the NHS Track and Trace app, as a QR code will be available outside venues.
▪ Do not attend a session if displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.
▪ Wash your hands before attending an in person session, and sanitise your hands on entry to lecture room (sanitiser points will be made available).
Entry to buildings
▪ Do not gather outside buildings before and after sessions but arrive on time and leave promptly.
▪ Maintain social distancing at all times.
▪ Unless exempt, wear face coverings when entering/exiting buildings, moving around buildings and in internal communal gathering areas at all times.
▪ Follow the signed circulation routes, where one-way flow is possible.
▪ Sit in the seats marked to allow social distancing.
During Teaching Sessions
▪ Face coverings may be removed when seated if distancing at 2 metres, but should be worn throughout the session if distancing at 1 metre, unless you are exempt.
▪ Avoid touching face or face coverings during sessions, or touching surfaces unnecessarily.
▪ If you feel generally unwell during a session, you should alert the teaching staff if appropriate to do so and leave if necessary. If the symptoms relate to COVID-19 you must return to your accommodation immediately and follow the existing COVID-19 management process.
After Teaching Sessions
▪ Leave promptly when a session ends and do not gather around the building or in break out areas.
▪ Sanitise or wash your hands after attending a session.
