​Student guidance for in person teaching

Student guidance for in person teaching in the Lecture BlockLady Mitchell Hall, and any of the Mill Lane Lecture theaters 

Pre-arrival

▪ Ensure that you have downloaded the NHS Track and Trace app, as a QR code will be available outside venues.

▪ Do not attend a session if displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.

▪ Wash your hands before attending an in person session, and sanitise your hands on entry to lecture room (sanitiser points will be made available).

 

Entry to buildings

▪ Do not gather outside buildings before and after sessions but arrive on time and leave promptly.

▪ Maintain social distancing at all times.

▪ Unless exempt, wear face coverings when entering/exiting buildings, moving around buildings and in internal communal gathering areas at all times.

▪ Follow the signed circulation routes, where one-way flow is possible.

▪ Sit in the seats marked to allow social distancing.

 

During Teaching Sessions

▪ Face coverings may be removed when seated if distancing at 2 metres, but should be worn throughout the session if distancing at 1 metre, unless you are exempt.

▪ Avoid touching face or face coverings during sessions, or touching surfaces unnecessarily.

▪ If you feel generally unwell during a session, you should alert the teaching staff if appropriate to do so and leave if necessary. If the symptoms relate to COVID-19 you must return to your accommodation immediately and follow the existing COVID-19 management process.

 

After Teaching Sessions

▪ Leave promptly when a session ends and do not gather around the building or in break out areas.

▪ Sanitise or wash your hands after attending a session.
