The Turkish novelist Burhan Sönmez will give the Trinity Global Lectures in the Humanities 2024, titled “Homo Artifex”

He is president of PEN International and his novels have been translated into more than forty languages. He has received international prizes, including the EBRD Literature Prize and Vaclav Havel Library Award.

This series of lectures will focus on the meaning of art and its place in the history of human civilisation.
