About:

I studied for my BA and MA at the Università degli Studi di Siena. I was Erasmus visiting student at the University of Warwick (2015-2016) and at the University of Cambridge (2017-2018). Since October 2019, I have been a PhD candidate in Italian at Clare College. My PhD is funded by the Keith Sykes Cambridge Italian PhD Studentship.

I specialise in contemporary Italian literature, with strong comparative and theoretical interests. My PhD project focuses on second-hand stories and reported testimonies in contemporary Italian narrative (1980 onwards).

Teaching:

I supervise for the first-year module ITA3 Texts and Contexts
