Warmest congratulations to our PhD student Elena Sottilotta who has received the Women's Studies Caucus Award of the American Association for Italian Studies, awarded to the best research papers in Women's and Gender Studies presented by doctoral students and early-career scholars at the 2022 AAAIS Conference. Her paper “Women in fabula: Unearthing Neglected Contributions to Folk- and Fairy-Tale Collections in Post-Unification Italy from a Gender Perspective” presented the research findings of her PhD project.
