The CUS Conversation series: Conversation with Ambassadors Melinda Simmons and Vadym Prystaiko

On 8 October 2020, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President Volodymyr Zelenskyi of Ukraine signed the ‘Political, Free Trade and Strategic Partnership Agreement’ to strengthen UK cooperation in political, security and foreign matters with Ukraine, while also securing continued preferential trade for businesses and consumers. Cambridge Ukrainian Studies welcomes Melinda SIMMONS, British Ambassador to Ukraine, and Vadym PRYSTAIKO, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, to discuss the landmark agreement and UK-Ukrainian relations in an online conversation.

Dr Olenka Pevny, Director CUS, will welcome and introduce the speakers and Andrii Smytsniuk, LTO in Ukrainian, will lead the interview

The event will be held in English and will be followed by a Q&A session.
