Laura Rimell works with Dr Anna Korhonen on the EU FP7 project Platform for Automatic, Normalized Annotation and Cost-Effective Acquisition of Language Resources for Human Language Technologies (PANACEA). Her work focuses on the automatic acquisition of verb subcategorization frames, within the overall project goal of reducing the human effort needed to acquire and update lexicons used in Machine Translation and other language technologies. She has previously worked on an EPSRC-funded project on CCG parsing in the biomedical domain.
