We are happy to share the exciting news that Dr Ivan Vulić (Language Technology Laboratory, Theoretical and Applied Linguistics) has won the prestigious Microsoft-BCS/BCS-IRSG Karen Spärck Jones Award.
Karen Spärck Jones FBA was a highly accomplished computer scientist in the University of Cambridge. From 2008, the award carrying her name has recognised an outstanding researcher in the fields of Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval. Ivan Vulić is the first researcher in the University of Cambridge to win this award!
